The Miozi Network is a Communications network that transports data on a global scale. Not much is known about The Miozi Network as it is primarily a private network with very little access given to the general public. However several sources have given the general public an incite into The Miozi Network.

In the beginning
In the beginning The Miozi Network was designed as a support network for the already existing Miozi.com1 website. However in late 2009 The Miozi Team2 realised that their ability to provide global services was limited by the ability of the network they relied on. This lead to The Miozi Network becoming the primary data transporter of Miozi.com.
Several months after Miozi.com switched to their own network the site began closing sections to the public. In early 2010 the site was completely sealed off to the public with merely two pages accessible to the public via Miozi.com. However both of these two pages hint that Miozi.com will return with the text 'The Future is Coming'3 on the bottom of the home page and a page dedicated to informing you if you are compatible4 with Miozi.com.
As a result of public access to Miozi.com being removed, public access was also removed from The Miozi Network with a mere 'one page'5 available to the general public.
Technology
The Miozi Network has implemented some unusual technology that has been quoted unrealistic.
Dynamic IP Addresses
The Miozi Network is the only large scale communication network to use completely dynamic Internet Protocol addresses. This makes the network increasingly difficult to trace and therefore hack but it has its downsides. If you do not know what the networks IP address is you can not connect to it meaning The Miozi Network cannot connect to itself (as there is more then one network within The Miozi Network). In order to keep track of itself and maintain security The Miozi Network uses private DNS servers (these servers are not reachable via the internet) which record the current IP address of each network allowing networks to talk to each other with increased security however each sub-network requires there own private DNS server, greatly increasing the cost of the network.6
Optical Fibre
The Miozi Network is one of a few global networks that uses their own 100Gb/s (12.5GB/s) optical fiber cables (another being Bell Labs in Villarceaux, France). If the network dealed with high amounts of data volume this would be a wise decision but from all accounts The Miozi Network deals with small ammounts of data and therefore this is a unrealistic move.
It should be noted that The Miozi Network while having its own private communication links still uses standard government networks for some communication.
Live Status
The Miozi Network Status site is interesting, as a user request the site the site starts gathering network information before informing the user which networks are avaliable. As opposed to the conventional method which is where the status site checks if other networks are online periodically, which can mean several minutes between a network going down and the status site saying the network went down. While public access to The Miozi Network remains minimal, access to 'The Miozi Network status site'7 remains almost full with the small regard that you can only monitor earth bound networks.
Safe Web
According to Norton Safe Web8 miozi.net and its affiliates are safe with a 5 out of a possible 5 rating.9
The Future
The following is an extract taking from The Miozi Network on the 29th of January 2010
"The Miozi Network is a network designed to connect everything, not only do we pride ourselves on connecting everything on planet Earth but we continue to pride ourselves by constructing vital communication links to other planets and endeavour to connect the entire universe. The Miozi Network opens up a massive array of services, many of which are taken on by miozi.com. We hope you enjoy everything The Miozi Network has to offer and continue to communicate to the fullest."10
this extract leads many people to believe The Miozi Network may one day be the primary data transporter for interplanetary nodes.
